How long will my new website take?

 Your website will be completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on the timing of your onboarding call and how quickly we receive the information needed from you.

Are there any additional costs?

 Yes. You will need a Squarespace Basic Plan, which is approximately $25 per month (less if you choose to pay annually). 

 If you don’t already have a domain name, you’ll need to purchase one. This can be done directly through Squarespace. Domain names generally start around $10 per year and can range from $10–$50 depending on availability and the name you choose.

How long does SEO optimization take to work?

 SEO typically takes about 90 days to start working. We will optimize your website and provide suggested action steps to support your visibility. SEO involves more than just what’s on your site, it also includes external links, social media presence, and other online signals. We’ll review what this means for your business during your onboarding call.

 Will you use AI or ChatGPT to create my website?

 No. Your website content will be written by me or provided directly by you. I do not use AI to generate your website copy.  

Images will either be provided by you or selected from high-quality, copyright-free stock libraries featuring real people.

 The only place I use ChatGPT is behind the scenes for SEO research and technical optimization, because it’s an efficient tool for analyzing keywords and saving time on backend tasks. It is my belief that AI generated content does not perform well on Google and it can sound canned and unprofessional. Your website is about connecting and attracting ideal clients the best way to do that is with your message and authenticity. 

Is this a collaborative process? Do I have to write all the content myself?

This is a collaborative effort. You do not need to write every word of your website. That's my job!

 I will need basic information from you, including:

  • Your service menu

  • Pricing

  • Business policies

  • A professional bio

 During our onboarding call, we’ll talk about your business, your ideal clients, and how you want to position yourself. I record that call and use our conversation to craft your homepage messaging and supporting content throughout the site.

 

What if I need updates?

 Your website package includes one round of revisions after we build the site using the information you provide. This is a great opportunity to clarify your service menu, update policies, and organize your business details before launch.

 After your site is complete, Squarespace makes it easy to handle simple updates yourself. I will provide a video tutorial to help you with this!
